Last Tuesday, the Woodberry Forest community had another in-person assembly. Each assembly has a different focus and this week’s focus was the topic of teacher appreciation, given that this week is also teacher appreciation week. A few 5th formers ran the assembly and gave anecdotes about a teacher that has impacted them in a meaningful way. They all shared a story or memory of their chosen teacher. After all the students gave their anecdotes, the whole auditorium gave a long round of applause to all teachers at Woodberry. We need to keep in mind the things our teachers have done for us and what we can do to return the favor.
